Tanning Consultant

We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Tanning Consultant to join our team! In this role, you will provide exceptional service to clients seeking tanning solutions while promoting a welcoming, clean and positive atmosphere. You will be responsible for educating clients about tanning products and services, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of tanning equipment, and driving sales through effective upselling techniques.

Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly and provide personalized consultations to understand their tanning needs.
- Educate clients on various tanning and wellness options we provide, while ensuring they are informed about safety practices.
- Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing tanning beds and equipment after each use to ensure a safe environment for all clients.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently via our POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Promote products and services through effective upselling techniques to enhance the client experience.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in tanning and beauty to provide informed recommendations to clients.
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service; previous experience in a retail or beauty environment is preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in transactions.
- Ability to learn sanitation practices related to tanning equipment is essential.
- Ability to effectively upsell products and services while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Sales experience is a plus; familiarity with cosmetology concepts is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn about new products and services.
