Salon Assistant Manager

Montego Bay Tans is an award-winning, family-owned tanning salon that has proudly served the Lehigh Valley since 2008. Located in Whitehall for the past 11 years, we’ve built our reputation on exceptional customer service, a spotless salon, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’re looking for an Assistant Salon Manager who wants to grow with us. What You’ll Do:

• Deliver exceptional customer service to every guest.
• Educate customers on UV tanning, spray tanning, red light therapy, memberships, and lotions.
• Help coach and motivate team members to achieve sales goals.
• Assist the Salon Manager with daily operations and leadership responsibilities.
• Open and close the salon, including independently during the off-season when needed.
• Clean and sanitize tanning equipment and maintain a spotless salon.
• Answer phones, check in customers, schedule appointments, and assist walk-in customers.
• Restock inventory and help keep the salon organized.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and confidently.

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Outstanding customer service skills are required.
• Dependable with reliable transportation.
• Friendly, outgoing, and enjoys interacting with people.
• Able to stand for most of the shift and perform cleaning duties.
• Leadership or management experience is a plus, but not required.
• Retail or sales experience is a plus.
• Someone who is dependable, motivated, eager to learn, and ready to grow with our team.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, approximately 12PM until close (7/8PM).
• 32–38 hours per week.
• Occasional weekend coverage as needed.
• Major holidays off.
