Meet Our Staff

Heather has been the Owner of Montego Bay Tans for 9+ years! If you have tanned with us at any point, you have surly met Heather around the salon before!  Heather’s favorite service here is the Level 5 tanning bed because she loves how much color she gets from just 1 visit! When tanning, you’ll catch her using one of her favorites - Moonrise, Prismatica or Beyond the Beach!  Heather’s favorite part of the job is meeting all kinds of new and interesting people, as she is pretty friendly herself! Heather’s favorite season is Summer and her favorite vacation spot (when not on the island) is Mexico!

Tyler has been the Salon Manager for 7+ years, but has been working with Montego since 2013! Tyler is our Norvell Certified Spray Tan Technician, and has been certified 8+ years! Tyler’s favorite service, hands down, is Spray Tanning! Tyler loves working one on one with the customers to ensure they have the best tan, every time! He also loves to pair a spray tan with our aloe based moisturizers or skin-friendly body washes. Tyler’s fav part of the job is seeing his customer’s confidence level boosted with a UV or spray tan! That is a close tie w/ getting to work side by side with his mom, Heather, every day! If you can’t find Tyler at the salon, he’s usually “down the shore” in the Cape May area! Have any Devoted Creations or Spray Tan questions? He’s your expert here to help! 

Nicolle joined our team April of 2022 and has been a ball of joy around the salon! Nicolle was promoted to Assistant Manager in January of 2024. Her fav service here is red/blue light therapy! She’s always pairing her collagenetics line or color me coco (for that extra boost) when using light therapy and tanning right after! Nicolle is loving meeting so many new faces in this role and blending into our tan fam perfectly! Nicolle’s dream vacation would be Italy (which she went summer of 2022)!! That’s a perfect fit because summer also happens to be her fav season!

Karleigh is currently a Salon Consultant II with us! She is a bundle of knowledge at the salon! Since joining our team in January of 2024, she has been soaking up all the UV tanning and skincare protocols like a season professional! When Karleigh was a customer, her favorite service was our level 2 units, but since joining our team, loves to bounce between levels for best color! Her current fav lotion is a tie between sunset strip and cactus cabana for the tropical fragrance and amazing results she gets with both!

 Please welcome Karen! She has been a client since before Montego Bay Tans was moved to our Whitehall location, almost 9 years ago! She joined our team in March of 2024 as our newest salon consultant and you will now be seeing more of her around the island!

Karen has always loved the vibe of the salon and has hit the ground running! It also helps that “cleaning” is her middle name, just like the rest of us! 

Her favorite equipment include the level 3 standups, for quick base building and the level 2 lay down units to give her a nice glow on her legs! She’s currently using color me coco to keep her skin nice & hydrated! 

Meet John! Most of you know him as Heather’s husband, but John is also Montego’s handyman/construction manager for the expansion project! John’s fav service here is our level 2 lay downs because… the longer the nap, the better! John’s fav part of being part of the Montego family is getting to talk w/ all the friendly faces that come thru our doors (& hold up the line talking to everyone)  John’s favorite place to travel is Vegas because who doesn’t love the casino?!
